Chances are, if you're listening to this podcast, you know what it's like to be unhappy with your body. But there's a difference between wishing we could lose a few (or maybe a lot of) pounds and feeling like we have to lose those pounds.
When we feel like we have to lose weight to be acceptable, not only do we have a hard time losing it (because we eat in despair whenever we break our boundaries), but we also miss out on a lot of peace, joy, contentment, and even fellowship with God as we go to Him for help with transformation.
In today's episode of the Taste for Truth Podcast, I share an interview I did two years ago with Debbie, who had just finished doing a renewing of the mind project on learning how to accept her body in its as is condition.
We'll discuss how she learned to accept her body as is and also how she learned to let go of her feelings of anger towards God for having to struggle with weight all her life. We'll also talk about letting go of people pleasing.
I hope you'll join us for today's episode of the podcast!
